Fish tea with the moon

This painting was made during an art battle hosted by the artist Ten Hundred.

Acrylic on MDF board, clear varnish, vintage golden frame.

In a land long forgotten,
In the ocean, down at the bottom.

There lived a king, and his garden eel.
Whom with the moon, he'd made a deal.

But the king was tricksy, with his fishy tea.
Drink this! He said. And you shall work for me!

The stars said no, but the moon drank still.
Because he's very polite, but now very ill.

He shines so bright, and works all night
Even his stars, for they do not fight.

So never trust, a king in the sea.
He will only deceive, with his fishy tea!
